Excellence Ambulance AC
Reminder: the Excellence ambulances have two AC modules.
As we move into warmer weather, please review the proper operation of the air conditioning systems in our newer Excellence ambulances. These units have separate patient compartment HVAC systems that operate independently from the cab, and both the module power and rear HVAC switches must be turned on whenever the vehicle leaves the station. The left control panel operates the primary heat and AC unit, while the right control panel operates the secondary AC-only unit. Fan speed can be controlled automatically or manually, and crews should contact any ODS with questions.

All GCEMS Vehicles can be tracked by their location and status in the Station Directory module at the bottom of the home screen of EMS Manager. Each vehicle's status and location is updated by the Logistics team and ODS as status and location changes happen in real time, so what you see here should be considered accurate and up to date. Any vehicle listed as "In Service" at your station always requires a compelted Rig Check at the start of your shift.
